MarketingSeasonal Niche
A niche whose demand spikes around a specific holiday, event or time of year.
A seasonal niche concentrates its sales in a window tied to a holiday or event — Christmas, Halloween, Mother's Day, back-to-school. Demand can be intense but brief, and it collapses once the date passes, so timing is everything.
Winning seasonal niches means publishing early: Etsy needs weeks to index and build a listing's ranking before the search surge arrives. Sellers plan a seasonal calendar backward from each peak, listing well ahead so they're ranking when buyers start searching.
Example"Halloween nurse shirt" sells heavily in September–October; listing it in August captures the ranking runway before the peak.
