The profit calculator
Price minus cost is not profit. The calculator subtracts Etsy's fees, the print provider's cost and shipping, so you see what actually stays in your pocket.
Step by step
Open the calculator from the ZeusLens menu
It is in the left rail, inside any Etsy page.
Enter your selling price
On a product page it is filled in for you with the price actually shown, discounts included.
Check the estimated product cost
ZEUS suggests one based on the product type. If you know what your provider charges, put the real number in: it is what moves the result the most.
Read the margin, not just the profit
Two products with the same profit per sale are not the same business if one needs twice the price to get there.
Frequently asked
Which Etsy fees does it include?
The listing fee, the transaction fee and payment processing: the three that apply to every sale.
Does it account for offsite ads?
No, deliberately: they only charge on attributed sales and at a rate that depends on your revenue tier, so folding an average into every product would make each individual number wrong.
