Wall Art and Posters on Etsy
Decorating a SPACE, not expressing an identity. Wall art is bought for how it looks on the wall, not for what it says.
ZEUS measures 1 product in this category against the supplier catalog, so the numbers below are read from the source, not estimated. That matters because most of what goes wrong with a print-on-demand listing is decided before the design exists.
What the print area actually is
| Product | Print method | Print area (px) | Orientation | Variants |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Matte Vertical Poster | Digital printing | 10800×16200 | Vertical | paper, size |
Entry cost $5.39 — the cheapest blank in the category. Source: printful_catalog, read on 2026-08-01. Bigger or premium variants cost more, so any margin from this number is a best case.
Art rules that apply here
- FIXED aspect ratio: the design has to work cropped to several standard sizes, not only the one you exported.
- Think about the wall and the room (bedroom, kitchen, nursery): that is what the buyer is searching for.
- Motivational text works, but the hook is the aesthetic.
Common mistakes
- Important elements against the edge (they get cropped)
- Treating it like a slogan t-shirt
SEO for this product
The SEO method is the same for every product: a clear title that carries the phrase buyers search for — the product once and its key traits, ideally under 15 words — plus all thirteen tags and the attributes. What changes is the product noun you rank for and the buying angle you write to.
Product nouns that work here: poster, wall art, art print, canvas print
