Tote Bags on Etsy with Print on Demand
Everyday use and affiliation (books, profession, the market). Given as a gift less than a mug, and used more.
ZEUS measures 1 product in this category against the supplier catalog, so the numbers below are read from the source, not estimated. That matters because most of what goes wrong with a print-on-demand listing is decided before the design exists.
What the print area actually is
| Product | Print method | Print area (px) | Orientation | Variants |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton Tote Bag | DTG (direct to garment) | 2953×3780 | Vertical | color, size |
We do not publish a supplier cost for this category yet, so ZEUS shows no margin for it. A number we cannot source is worse than a gap we admit.
Art rules that apply here
- NARROW area: long horizontal text does not fit.
- Vertical text fails: the bag hangs from the shoulder and is read face-on.
- Transparent background, as with fabric: the canvas supplies the colour.
Common mistakes
- Wide compositions that spill out of the area
- Designs hidden by the handles
SEO for this product
The SEO method is the same for every product: a clear title that carries the phrase buyers search for — the product once and its key traits, ideally under 15 words — plus all thirteen tags and the attributes. What changes is the product noun you rank for and the buying angle you write to.
Product nouns that work here: tote bag, canvas bag, book tote
